Pour
Pour Dreft Stage 1: Newborn Detergent from the cap or bottle all over the stain.

Pre-treat
In a bucket, sink or bowl, create a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 ½ tablespoons of Dreft per gallon of warm water. Allow the clothes to soak for 30 minutes. Place a white towel on top to keep the items submerged.

Dose
Use the cap to dose the correct amount of detergent, which can be found on the packet. Pour it into the detergent dispenser of your high-efficiency machine, or directly into the drum.

Load
Load the stained clothes into the washer.

Wash
Choose the wash cycle and water temperature that’s listed on the garment’s care label.

Unload
If the stain persists, repeat the previous steps before tossing it in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.
