How to Remove Baby Formula Stains

Sometimes, there’s only so much formula that actually ends up in your little one’s tummy, because when feeding from the bottle some baby formula can easily end up on your little one’s onesie or bib.

Stain removal steps
Pre-treat:
Using a bucket, sink or bowl, create a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 ½ tablespoons of Dreft per gallon of warm water. Allow the stained clothes to soak for up to 30 minutes, keeping them submerged with a white towel.

Dose:
Use the cap to measure the correct dose of Dreft (you’ll find this info on the bottle). Pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have a high-efficiency machine, or directly into the drum.

Load:
Load the clothes into the washing machine.

Wash:
Wash on the optimal wash cycle that you’ll find on the garment’s care label.

Unload:
If the stains are still there, repeat these steps. Only dry the clothes once the stain is completely removed, because drying will set any lingering stain.
