Stain removal steps
Remove Excess:Scrape off any excess before rinsing the stain under cold, running water. The higher the water pressure, the easier stain removal will be.
Pre-treat:Make a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 ½ tablespoons of Dreft for each gallon of warm water. Soak stained clothes for up to 30 minutes, keeping them submerged with a towel.
Dose:Measure the correct dose in the cap, following the instructions on the packet. Pour it into the dispenser of your high-efficiency machine, or directly into the drum.
Load:Put the clothes in the washer.
Wash:Follow the instructions on the fabric care label when setting the wash cycle.
Unload:If the stain still persists, repeat the previous steps before tossing the clothes into the dryer, as drying will set any lingering stains.
