How to Remove Mustard Stains
Each day of your baby’s life is full of excitement and new experiences and you’re right there to share each moment with your little one. You are there to watch him or her discover the world with all its wonders and all of its chances for stains on clothes.
As your baby becomes more mobile, the tiny little one will come into contact with all kinds of new and fascinating things like grass and trees, as well as new tastes and smells. Discovering new fruits, veggies, meats and sauces means there will be ample opportunity to accidentally spill or spread the latest meal down the front of his or her clothes.
Meeting Mustards Stains
If your little one has just tried mustard for the first time, or already loves putting the sauce on sausages and hamburgers, you’ll be familiar with this annoying stain. It’s bright yellow – so of course some of it will get onto your little one’s clothes. In any case you might now be wondering how to help remove mustard stains from clothes.
Although mustard stains on clothes can leave a trace of yellow on your toddler’s outerwear, luckily for moms and dads, the cleanup is easy with Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Detergent. So make the most of those precious early moments with your young one, and let Dreft help remove that mustard stain.
Dreft to the Stain Removal Rescue
Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Detergent has been specially designed with your active baby in mind. It helps removes 99% of baby food stains, as well as those stains picked up from outdoor adventures, like grass stains and dirt stains.
Made for active babies and tough on stains, Dreft along with the following steps, can help you out if you’re wondering how to help remove mustard stains.
Stain removal steps
Remove Excess:
Dab off any excess from the garment before rinsing under cold, running water. The higher the water pressure, the easier it will be to help remove stains.

Pour:
Pour Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Detergent from either the bottle or cap onto the stain, making sure you cover it completely.

Pre-treat:
Create a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 ½ tablespoons of Dreft per gallon of warm water. Soak the clothes for 30 minutes, weighting the item down with a white towel to keep it totally submerged.

Dose:
Use the cap to dose correctly, following the instructions on the pack. Pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have a high-efficiency machine, or directly into the drum.

Load:
Load the stained clothes into the washer.

Wash:
Choose a wash cycle and temperature according to the instructions on the garment’s care label.

Unload:
If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before tossing in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.

It’s not only mustard stains that your active little one is likely to come across at dinner. Ketchup stains can leave a colorful mark on your baby’s top, while a dash of chocolate or a splash of purple-colored blueberry can also decorate your baby’s clothes, creating a laundry challenge.
Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Detergent can help busy moms and dads with the cleanup, by helping to remove tough stains while leaving behind a Baby Fresh Scent that leaves your baby clothes with the wonderful smell of a newborn baby.
