Stain removal steps
Remove Excess:
Brush off any excess before rinsing under cold, running water. The higher the water pressure, the easier it will be to remove stains.

Pour:
Pour Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Detergent from either the bottle or the cap onto the stain, covering it completely.

Pre-treat:
Create a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 ½ tablespoons of Dreft per gallon of warm water. Soak the garment for up to 30 minutes, weighting it down with a white towel to keep it submerged.

Dose:
Use the cap to dose the correct amount of detergent, making sure you follow the instructions on the pack. Pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have a high-efficiency machine, or directly into the drum.

Load:
Load the stained clothes into the washer.

Wash:
Follow the instructions on the garment’s care label, and wash as usual with Dreft.

Unload:
If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before drying, as drying will set the stain.
